Buy me some peanuts and cracker jacks

We drive 268 miles northwest through Tennessee, Kentucky, and Illinois into Missouri, crossing over the Tennessee and Ohio Rivers, with the mighty Mississippi just outside our hotel in St. Louis. Music still in our heads from last night, we listen to the rhythm of the highway as our car drives over it. We reach our destination in just under five hours with the mighty arch greeting us; our odometer reads 1648 for the entire trip.

In honor of our Americana theme, we head to a baseball game at Busch Stadium, where Cardinals fans are still on a high after winning last year's World Series. We grab some Buds (what else?) and root, root, root for the home team.
